Romulus began when three high school friends got together and jammed for the first time in 2011. They were Daniel Fuenmayor, Michael David Lopez, and Henry Sosa. Together they wrote music and played shows with friends at local venues in South Florida, gaining experience and growing in their musical knowledge. After the summer of 2012, each of the members went off to college to study in the field of science. They remained close friends and continued to write music together by exchanging ideas and arrangements online, and in 2013, the band decided they were ready to make an album and share their music with the world. With the help of Alex Cohen on bass and the guidance of “The Freeman” (Fredric Freeman - Dungeon Recording's principal owner, staff engineer and studio manager), The Third Leg – EP was completed and released on August 15th, 2013.
