Hailing from Prescott, Arkansas, Rachel Hale is no stranger to the stage. While interning in Los Angeles, California, for Patriot Records, Rachel auditioned for Season 12 of American Idol. Rachel was a featured contestant and was a top 20 female finalist competing in the “live” shows. The judges named her the “happiest contestant” because she was always smiling. Billboard ranked her performance of Grace Potter’s “Nothing But the Water” as one of the Top 12 Performances of the entire season. In November, Rachel released her arrangement of “Nothing But the Water” to iTunes. Due to American Idol, many doors have opened, and Rachel is currently writing, recording, and working on an EP in Nashville, TN with Grammy Award Winning Producer Drew Ramsey. Rachel wants to share her music with the world in an effort to make it a better place, and she aims to do just that.
