Formed in the basement, recorded in the woods, Apeman doesn't get out much-- But when they do, the results are often transcendental. The two guitarists, Jim and Tim Dexter, trade scraps of melody from generations past to form intricate harmony. On the drums, Mollusk maintains the gravity of sound and the pulse of rhythm that is, what we call, scrap metal. Combined, the three explore and manipulate the primitive roots of rock and roll, the heart of soul, and the effects of inebriation on music-making.
