After having first dipped their feet in the State College music scene, long time friends Aida Mekonnen and Tyler Ringland are now two halves of the NYC based indie rock duo Amsterdam. Their latest effort, “Never”, is just one in a collection of songs Amsterdam recorded last winter at Wall Street’s Engine Room Audio—famous for clients such as The Killers, Depeche Mode, A$AP Rocky, etc.—in New York. The band have released their first singles – “Drive”, “A Matter of Time”, “Nightlife” and "Never" – as free downloads through Bandcamp and Soundcloud.
